Time Wasters For Small Business People

i. Chasing customers

No one wants to buy from you until they need to. Waving and shouting to passersby to come to your shop is a bootless errand. Package yourself instead as a small business and be the best at what you do, then let customers come to you naturally.

ii. Worries and regrets

Spending days or weeks, or even months wondering how you’re going to keep the wolf from your small business’s door is total waste of time. Worrying and regretting won’t make you any cent. You want to stay patient or execute instead.

iii. Attending useless meetings

As a small business person, you don’t have to waste your precious time attending political rallies, church devotions and retreats, family get-togethers, weddings and funerals of friends of friends etc. Just meet your customers at your shop.

iv. Too much social media and TV

The people you’re watching on Instagram and the movies have already made it in life, you haven’t. Switch off your disruptive electronics and concentrate on your small business, until you make it. Focus on yourself until the focus is on you.

v. Not having a to-do list

You want to have and always update your action plan while running your small business to avoid time wastage that comes with being caught off-guard - all of a sudden a particular item is out of stock, all of a sudden its time to pay the bills.
