As your business grows with its clientele, a specific section of high value clients naturally distinguishes themselves - customers who just make sense of your small business, clients whose substantial input catalyzes the overall growth of your enterprise.

a) Regular loyal customers
These are die-hard clients who hardly or never cheat on you, that is, they are not easily influenced by the availability or pricing of your competitors. They are willing to cross an ocean, pay more, and even wait on or for you if they have to, as long as they get the same quality product or service you offer. Apart from bringing more revenue through their frequency at your small business, loyal customers also are more willing and glad to recommend you to other potential customers, especially their friends and family.
b) Referred customers
According to research, 1% of the clientele generate as much as 40% of the total revenue for most small businesses. When customers like your goods and services and the energy around you, they not only purchase and repurchase from you, but also become your advocates with a definite potential to bring more customers. Most of these clients, with the fact that they are referred by people they know and trust, end up becoming some of your best customers - more loyal, spend more and refer more new customers.
c) Supportive friends and family
Of the many ways a friend or family member can support your small business (for example, spreading the word when they are networking and interacting with your social media pages), nothing better communicates loyalty in your friendship or relationship like financial support. Supportive friends and family who go beyond just wishing the best out of your business venture by becoming your regular and loyal customers are a rare gem.
d) One-time big time customers
"One-time big time customers" are clients (in most cases, new in town) who out walk into your premises after identifying your business probably through your signage outside or after being directed to you by people who are familiar with you, BUY BIG (big enough to make you want jump in ecstacy and even close the day immediately after, it doesn’t matter what time it is) then disappear forever - absolutely heaven-sent customers.
